Sponti Child Safety Standards
Last updated: 2 June 2026
Zero Tolerance Policy: Sponti has a absolute zero-tolerance policy for any form of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSAE), child grooming, or any behavior that threatens the safety and well-being of minors.
Sponti ("we", "us", or "the app") is a platform designed for organising spontaneous plans and hangouts. We are dedicated to ensuring a secure and positive environment for all members of our community. These Child Safety Standards outline our commitment to protecting minors and our policies for preventing, reporting, and responding to child exploitation and abuse.
1. Prohibited Content and Behaviors
We strictly prohibit the creation, upload, sharing, or facilitation of any content or behavior related to:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSAE): Any visual representation of child sexual abuse or sexual exploitation of children.
- Child Sexual Grooming: Any attempt to initiate contact, build trust, or establish a relationship with a minor for the purpose of sexual exploitation, abuse, or facilitation of illicit physical encounters.
- Child Endangerment: Any plans, events, descriptions, or chats that put children at risk of physical, emotional, or psychological harm.
2. In-App Reporting Mechanisms
Sponti empowers all users to play an active role in keeping our community safe. We provide simple, robust, and immediate tools inside the app to report any violations:
- Report Sponti Plan: If you view any plan, hangout description, or event name that raises safety concerns, you can immediately report the plan directly from the plan's details sheet in-app.
- Block and Report User: You can instantly block any host or participant from the participant dialog or chat sheet, preventing them from sending you messages or seeing your plans, and reporting them to our moderation team.
- Direct Contact: Any user or third party can report safety concerns or violations directly to our designated safety point of contact at armaganarsln@gmail.com.
3. Our Moderation and Response Protocols
Upon receiving a report of a child safety violation:
- Immediate Action: The reported plan or content is immediately hidden from the feed pending review.
- Investigation: Our moderation team reviews the report, associated metadata, and chat transcripts within a maximum of 2 hours.
- Permanent Action: If a violation is confirmed, the violating user's account is permanently banned, their device is blocked from registering new accounts, and all associated content is permanently deleted from Sponti servers.
4. Reporting to Law Enforcement and NCMEC
Sponti complies with all federal, national, and international child protection laws. In accordance with legal requirements:
- We will immediately report any instances of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSAE) to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and regional or national law enforcement authorities.
- We fully cooperate with law enforcement subpoenas, requests, and investigations, providing necessary logs and database records to assist in prosecuting offenders.
5. Designated Point of Contact
Our designated point of contact is ready and able to speak about Sponti's child safety practices, CSAM prevention, and legal compliance.
